The month of May often brings First Communion and May Crowning. St. Francis of Assisi school is no exception. So it was that today at our school Mass the First Communicants had the privilege of crowning Mary.

- Our seven St. Francis of Assisi School First Communicants were proud to come to school in their First Communion dresses and suits.
The First Communicants, with their flowers for Mary in hand, processed in before the Mass.
As each child placed their flowers before Mary they also eagerly anticipated receiving Jesus for the second time.
Their awaited moment came and Mary was honored by the happy hearts and love of these children.
“On this day, Oh beautiful Mother…”
The student body attentively watched as Mary was crowned our Queen.
